Petitioners in this case contend that there is a blockage of Pucca M.C. drainage constructed by M.C. Una, because of which there is a stagnation of water in the area where the petitioners' house/property comprised in Khata nos. 555, 499, Khatauni no.

853/819, Khasra no. 2098/187, situated in Up-Mohal Behla, Una, is located and the petitioners have been suffering since November, 2022 with this public nuisance caused on account of flowing of dirty water near the said property.

2. Learned Advocate General has placed before us report of the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Una, stating that the stagnated water outside the house of the petitioners has been cleared by breaking the drain wall of the old Una-Hoshiyarpur road and temporary arrangements have also been instructed to be made for evacuating the stagnated water.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioners disputes this statement of the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Una.

4. Therefore, the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Una is directed to visit the spot in question and submit a report as to whether the stagnated dirty water near the petitioners' property has been totally evacuated and removed or not.
