51. Width of public streets.
(1)The Authority shall, from time to time with the sanction of the State Government specify the minimum width for different classes of public streets according to the nature of the traffic likely to be carried there, the localities in which they are situated, the heights up to which building abutting thereon may be erected and other similar considerations.(2)The width of a new public street shall not be less than that prescribe in sub-section (1), or that shown on the Master plan for the class to which it belongs in areas for which Master Plan has been prepared.
