Section 59(1) in First Statutes of the University of Udaipur
(1)Without prejudice to the powers of the Academic Council hereinbefore mentioned, the establishment, abolition, amalgamation, sub-divisions of the Department shall be determined by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Board of Studies.
