This application has been filed by AICTE to approve the proposed calendar issued for the academic year 2022-2023. The schedule fixed for admission in Engineering and other courses by this Court under the supervision of AICTE is as follows:

There has been a delay in processing the
applications, hearing appeals and in making admissions
for the past two years in view of the pandemic. At the
request of the AICTE, the last dates for the schedule fixed by this Court have been extended for the year 2021- 2022. AICTE has brought to the notice of this Court that the dates fixed by this Court could not be adhered for the academic year 2022-2023 in view of 3 rd wave of Covid.
As the Institutions have been closed, Inspection by Expert Visit Committees, verifications and scrutiny could not be held within time.
Taking into account the extraordinary situation that has arisen due to 3rd wave of Covid, we approve the revised calendar which is proposed by the AICTE in the following terms:4

All the AICTE Approved Institutions/Universities are requested to follow AICTE/UGC Guidelines on Examinations issued from time to time in view of Pandemic. The Classes may be started in Online/Offline (Class Room) or Blended mode (Online as well as Offline) following the prescribed protocols/guidelines related to Pandemic. AICTE will not seek the change in last date of Approval & University will not seek the change in last date of affiliation.
In case exigency arises due to Pandemic situation AICTE is permitted to change the other dates in the Academic Calendar 2022-2023, as per guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Health/Ministry of Home from time to time.
Miscellaneous Application and pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
