Section 48(1)(a) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000

(a)a grant being not less than the net expenditure incurred in the previous year in respect of the activities of the institutions of agriculture and allied sciences and such Departments of the State Government relating to agriculture and allied sciences as are transferred to the University;
