Section 48(1) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(1)The State Government shall make every year the following lump sum grants to the University :-(a)a grant being not less than the net expenditure incurred in the previous year in respect of the activities of the institutions of agriculture and allied sciences and such Departments of the State Government relating to agriculture and allied sciences as are transferred to the University;(b)a grant being not less than the estimated expenditure on account of pay and allowances of the employees and contingencies, supplies and services of the University, and(c)a grant to meet such additional items of expenditure, recurring and non-recurring, as the State Government may deem fit for the proper function of the University.
