Section 123(1) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(1)Every employer shall ensure that at a construction site of a building or other construction work where an excavation or tunneling work is being carried on, a register of employment or building workers carrying out such excavation or tunneling work is maintained and produced on demand to the Inspector having jurisdiction.
