Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University Act, 2013
1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University Act, 2013.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It applies to -(a)the colleges and institutions specified in the Schedule; and(b)all colleges and institutions which may be affiliated to, or established or maintained by, the University in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the statutes and regulations made thereunder.(4)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
