- The University shall have a fund called the General Fund to which shall be credited: -(a)It's income from fees, endowments and grants, if any; and(b)contributions which may be made by the State Government on such conditions as they may impose, towards the development of laboratories, libraries, museums and workshops; salaries of such teachers of the University as are appointed for research work and towards the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in particular branches of learning.
