86. Liability to maintain the fittings and the meter by the consumer.
- No valve or stop-cock, ferrule, meter of any other fittings shall be interfered with b^the consumer or any body except with the written permission of the officer authorised in this behalf. If it is found to have been tempered or otherwise interfered within violation of this rule, the consumer shall have to bear the cost of repair or pay such penalty as determined by the Managing Director.
