(f)in the case of Professors (Medical/Non-Medical) and Professors (Dental):-

(i)50 per cent by promotion from amongst the teachers, and

(ii)50 per cent by direct recruitment, or by transfer or deputation of any officer/official already in the service of any State Government or the Government of India :
