Section 78(1) in Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and rules made thereunder -(a)there shall be for every Panchayat a Secretary [xxx] [Deleted by Section 46, of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Act, 2000 published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part IV-A dated 3.5.2000 with effect from 6.1.2000.] who shall be appointed in the prescribed manner,(b)every Panchayat may with the previous approval of the Panchayat Samiti, appoint such other staff as may be necessary for carrying out the duties imposed on it by or under this Act on such conditions of service of as may be prescribed.
