8. Officers of the University.
- The following shall be the officers of the University, namely,-(i)The Chancellor(ii)The Vice-Chancellor(iii)[ The Pro-Vice Chancellor] [This clause was substituted by Gujarat 10 of 1982, section 2, Schedule, Sr. No. 4(1) (w.r.e.f. 09-12-1981).](iv)The Deans of Faculties(v)The Registrar(vi)The Controller of Examinations, and(vii)such other officers in the service of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be officers of the University.
