Section 19(1) in APG (Alakh Prakash Goyal) Shimla University Establishment and Regulation Act, 2012
(1)The Board of Management shall consist of the following members, namely:-(a)the Vice-Chancellor;(b)Deans of Faculties not exceeding two(by rotation based on seniority);(c)two persons, nominated by the sponsoring body from amongst eminent educationists or from management field;(d)two eminent academicians, to be nominated by the Government in consultation with the Regulatory Commission;(e)two persons from amongst the teachers (from Professors, Associate Professors), by rotation based on seniority; and(f)the Registrar shall be the Member-Secretary.
