Section 8(1) in The Legal Metrology (Government Approved Test Centre) Rules, 2013
(1)The Government Approved Test Centre after carrying out metrological evaluation of weight or measure and on being satisfied that the same conforms to specification laid down under the Act and rules made thereunder shall stamp the same and also issue a certificate of verification.
