Section 203 in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
203. Scaffold supported by building.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that,-(a)no part of a building is used as support or part of a scaffold unless such part of the building is made of sufficient strength and made of sound material to accord safe support;(b)overhanging caves, gutters are not used for supporting scaffold; and(c)suspended scaffold is made of in accordance with the relevant national standards before being used by the building workers.
