11. Method of awarding compensation.
(1)Any Mehwassi entitled to compensation under section 10 may make an application therefor to the Collector in the prescribed form, within the prescribed period.(2)The Collector shall, after holding a formal inquiry, determine the amount of such compensation and the apportionment, if necessary, among the co-sharers entitled to it, and shall make an award accordingly.
