13. The Chancellor.
(1)The Chancellor may be appointed for the period of five years from amongst all members of the management board of the [Graphic Era Educational Society, Dehradun] [Substituted by section 3 of Uttarakhand Act No. 3 of 2013.] by majority. After that Graphic Era Educational Society, Dehradun shall appoint Chancellor among his members with prior approval of the Visitor.(2)The Chancellor shall have such powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made thereunder.
