17. Salaries allowances and other conditions of service of Member-Secretary.
(1)The Member-Secretary shall be paid a monthly pay as prescribed by the Government.(2)The other terms and conditions of service of the Member Secretary including allowances payable to him, shall, as far as possible, be the same as are applicable to an officer of the corresponding status of the State Government.(3)Where a Government servant is appointed as Member - Secretary the terms and conditions of his service shall be regulated by the rules or orders of the State Government issued from lime to time relating generally to appointments in foreign service.(4)The Member-Secretary shall be entitled to travel by air or air-conditioned class of the railway.
