10. Appointment of Deputy Cane Commissioner.
(1)The Government may appoint an officer with experience in cane to be Deputy Cane Commissioner for the purposes of this Act.(2)A Deputy Cane Commissioner shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions of the Cane Commissioner as the Government may direct or as the Cane Commissioner may delegate to him.
