(7)(a)In case of death, the body of the patient shall be wrapped in a cloth soaked in a strong solution of cyllin, and made over to his relatives, friends, or where he is without relatives/ friends, to the police, who shall arrange for its disposal.(b)If they have not already been disinfected in accordance with the provisions of clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 41 the clothes of the deceased (except those in the baggage), his bedding and all food in his possession shall be burnt, unless orders to the contrary are passed by the Medical Officer.
