Section 20(1) in Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority Building Rules, 2013
(1)The minimum area of every closed courtyard of a residential building upon which habitable rooms abut shall not be less than nine square metres and the minimum width of every such courtyard in any direction shall not be less than 2.5 metres.
