20. Minimum Area of Courtyard.
(1)The minimum area of every closed courtyard of a residential building upon which habitable rooms abut shall not be less than nine square metres and the minimum width of every such courtyard in any direction shall not be less than 2.5 metres.(2)Notwithstanding the provisions of sub rule (1), the clear width of the courtyard shall not be less than one-fourth of the mean height of the abutting building.
