Section 16(1) in The U.P. Dental Surgeons Service Rules, 1979

(1)Selection by promotion to the post of Dental Surgeon (Selection Grade) shall be made on the basis of seniority subject to the rejection of the unfit through a Selection Committee comprising-

(a)Secretary,

(b)Director,

(c)Any other Secretary to Government to be nominated by the Chief Secretary.

Note. - The Senior Secretary to Government shall be the Chairman of the Selection Committee.
