Section 16 in The Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1948
16. Examination by the Veterinary Surgeon.
- On receipt of a report under sub-section (2) of section 15 the Veterinary Surgeon shall examine the [livestock or bird] [Substituted for the word 'animals' by Punjab Act 33 of 1961, Section 4.] as soon as possible and may also examine all [livestock or birds] which it has been in contact with or in close proximity to, and for this purpose may submit any [livestock or bird] to any test which the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may by regulations prescribe in this behalf.
