Section 7(1) in The Nalanda Open University Act, 1995
(1)All recognised teaching in connection with University courses shall be conducted through correspondence study centres with adequate library facilities, part-time instructions, counselling, contract programme, working laboratories and home assignments etc. conducted by Professors, Readers and Lecturers and other teachers in accordance with any syllabus prescribed by Regulation.
