10. years full time work experience in any area of Mass Communication (News paper accredited with ABC, National News Agencies, radio or television, film media, reputed advertising agencies, Public Relation Officers of the Government, Public Sector Undertakings and established Industrial and Commercial Houses.)

1.4.3Lecturer
Good academic record with, at least 55% marks (or a equivalent grade) at Master's degree level or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or foreign university/recognised institution in Communication/Mass Communication/Journalism. Candidates, besides fulfilling the above qualification, should have cleared the eligibility test for lecturers-conducted by-UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.Note :- [NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer even for candidates having Ph.D. degree. However, the candidate who have completed M.Phil degree by 31st December, 1993 or have submitted Ph.D. thesis to the university in the concerned subject on or before 31st December, 2002 are exempted from appearing in the NET examination.
