Section 21 in The Orissa Taxation (On Goods carried by Roads or Inland Waterways) Act, 1968
21. Bar to suit in Civil Courts and indemnity.
(1)No suit shall be brought in any Civil Court to set aside or modify any assessment made or orders passed or purporting to have been made or order passed under the provisions of this Act, and no prosecution, suit or other proceeding shall lie against any officer for anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules made thereunder.(2)Not suit shall be instituted against the State and no suit, prosecution or other proceedings shall be instituted against any officer or servant of the Government in respect of any act done or purporting to be done under this Act, unless the suit, prosecution or other proceeding is instituted within six months from the date of the act complained of.
