Section 417(1) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(1)The Government may require the Commissioner to furnish it with-(a)any return, statement, estimates, statistics or other information regarding any matter under the control of any municipal authority of the city;(b)a report on any such matter; or(c)a copy of any document in his charge or under his control.
