Section 24(5) in Kerala District Administration Act, 1979
(5)A President shall be deemed to have vacated his office on the expiry of his term of office as member or on his being sentenced by a criminal court for imprisonment for any offence involving moral delinquency or on his other·wise ceasing to be a member.
