Section 18(1) in The Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur Statutes, 1987
(1)The Dean of the Faculty concerned shall be appointed on such terms as approved by the Chancellor on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor from amongst the Deans of Colleges in that Faculty for a period of three years. The Vice-Chancellor shall have powers to curtail/reduce this period depending upon the exigency of service and convenience of administration.
