(a)The number, name and description of the elector as stated in the electoral roll shall be called out; and(b)The Polling Officer shall record the electoral roll, Part No. and Serial No. of the voter as entered in the marked copy of the electoral roll on the Counterfoil of the ballot paper and obtain his signature or thumb impression thereon.
