Section 83(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(1)The Director, Forensic Science shall, from time to time, with the approval of the State Police Board, communicate to the State Government, the forensic facilities or services required at the State, Range and District level for the purpose of scientific investigation of crime, and the scientific evidence that should be collected in various circumstances.
