(7)The water-supply to the washing facilities shall be capable of yielding at least six gallons a day for each person employed in the factory and shall be from a source approved in writing by the Health Officer. Provided that where the Chief Inspector is satisfied that such an yield is not practicable, he may, by certificate in writing, permit the supply of a smaller quantity not being less than one gallon per day for every person employed in factory.Rules Prescribed under sub-section (1) of Section 45
