Section 1 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Shops and Establishments Act, 1973
1. Short title, extent, commencement and application.
(1)This Act may be called the Goa, Daman and Diu Shops and Establishments Act, 1973.(2)It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu.(3)It shall come into force in such areas and on such dates as the Government may, from time to time, by notification, appoint.
