6. Allocation of sitting members.
(1)On and from the appointed day, the three sitting members of the Council of States representing the existing Union territory of Himachal Pradesh shall be deemed to have been duly elected under clause (4) of article 80 to fill the three seats allotted to the State of Himachal Pradesh in that Council.(2)The term of office of such sitting members shall remain unaltered.
