Section 50(1) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(1)No person shall be appointed by the University as a member of the academic Staff, except on the recommendation of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes made in that behalf:Provided that, appointment to the posts of Director of the University, Associate Deans, Head of a Department and Professor shall be made on the recommendation of the Selection Committee to be constituted by the Executive Council.
