Section 56 in The Bidhan Chandra Krishi (Viswavidyalaya) Act, 1974.
56. Repeal and savings. -
(1)The Bidhan Chandra Krishi [Viswavidyalaya] [The word within square brackets substituted 'Viswa Vidyalaya' throughout the Act by W. B. Act 31 of 1981.] Ordinance, 1974, is hereby repealed.(2)Anything done or any action taken under the Bidhan Chandra Krishi [Viswavidyalaya] [The word within square brackets substituted 'Viswa Vidyalaya' throughout the Act by W. B. Act 31 of 1981.] Ordinance, 1974, shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken under this Act as if this Act had commenced on the 1st day of September, 1974.[SCHEDULE I] [Original Schedule renumbered as Schedule II and Schedule I inserted by W.
