Section 14(3)(i) in The Orissa Panchayat Samiti (Administration of Affairs) Rules, 1987

(i)conduct one half-yearly inspection of the Block Office (the other shall be conducted by the Block Development Officer) and annual inspection of the work of as m any Village-Level Workers as may be specified by the Block Development Officer who shall, however, himself inspect the work of at least half the village-level workers in the Block;
