Section 752(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)All constable recruited before being enlisted shall be sent to the Civil Surgeon for examination except in the case of recruits for the Dacca District Police who shall be examined by the Teacher of Medical Jurisprudence, Dacca Medical School.
