Section 8 in The Border Security Force (Ceremonials And Marks Of Respect) Rules, 1989
8. General
.-The strength and composition of Guard of Honour shall depend on the status of the personage and shall be laid down in accordance with orders issued from time to time in this regard by the Central Government. A Guard of Honour may be drawn from Border Security Force alone, or in conjunction with other Police Forces.
