Section 94(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)All officers below the rank of Inspector are entitled, when making journeys on duty by railway or steamer or omnibus service to receive warrants on which tickets are issued for such journeys. Detailed instructions regarding the custody, issue and use of these warrants are contained in Appendix III.
