Section 9(2) in All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958
(2)Leave granted by foreign employer to a member of the Service while on foreign service out of India under sub-rule (1) of rule 27 of the Leave Rule shall be treated as leave and not as duty and shall qualify for pension subject to the provision of sub-rule(1).
