Section 1 in THE ANDHRA PRADESH FISHERIES UNIVERSITY ACT, 2020
1. Short title, extent, commencement and application-
(1)This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University Act, 2020.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 23rd October, 2020.(4)It shall apply in the first instance to the Colleges, the Polytechnics, Research Stations and Schemes, Institutions, Labs and Units shown in the Schedule.Provided that the Government may, by Notification, apply the provisions of this Act to any other College, Polytechnic or Institution with effect on and from such date as they may specify in this behalf.
