58. Maintenance of accommodation by the allottee.
(1)The allottee to whom a residential accommodation has been allotted shall maintain the accommodation and premises in a clean condition and such allottee shall not grow any tree, shrubs or plants contrary to the instructions issued by the Government or by its maintenance agencies nor cut or lop off any existing tree or shrubs in any garden, courtyard or compound attached to the accommodation save with the prior permission in writing of the concerned maintenance agencies.(2)Trees, plantation or vegetation, grown in contravention of this rule may be caused to be removed by the concerned maintenance agencies at the risk and cost of the allottee concerned.
