Section 18(1) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995
(1)The roll shall be prepared in the format adopted in the roll of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Constituency. The title and other particulars shall be in accordance with the directions of the State Election Commission issued, from time to time.
