93. Licensing of ticket agents
. [Section 96(2)(xviii)] - (1) No person shall act as an agent for the sale of tickets for travel by a public service vehicle, otherwise than in the vehicle itself or in a fixed office, unless he has obtained from the licensing authority a licence permitting him to do so.(2)For the purpose of sub-rule (1), any person soliciting or attempting to persuade another to travel in a vehicle shall be deemed to be acting as an agent for the sale of ticket for travel.(3)The licensing authority for the purpose of this rule and rules 94, 95 and 96 shall be the licensing authority specified under rule 3.
