Section 28 in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir
28. Term of Office.
(1)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] shall hold office during the pleasure of the President.(2)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] may, by writing under his hand addressed to the President, resign his office.
