Section 8(ii) in Andhra Pradesh Regulation of Admissions into Post Graduate Engineering Including Technology/Pharmacy/ Architecture and Planning Courses (through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(ii)The fee fixed and collected from NRIs, in excess of the fees prescribed for non NRI candidates under Category-B shall be utilised for benefiting the students from economically weaker sections of the society whose eligibility criteria shall be as notified by the Government. The mechanism for extending such benefit to the students belonging to economically weaker sections shall be as fixed by the AFRC.
