Section 161(2)(b) in Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988

(b)the copy of the list of produce distrained together with intimation to the place and the day and hour at which the produce distrained will be sold shall be affixed on the agriculture and rural, a copy of the same shall be sent by registered post to the mortgagor to his last known place of residence.
